  • Rita Ora and Madonna (Photo courtesy of Matrial Girl)Madonna has announced she has a new face. No, she hasn't issued a statement about plastic surgery, rather she and her daughter, Lola, have announced that 22-year-old Rita Ora has been chosen to the new face of Material Girl, their junior lifestyle brand.

If you're not familiar with lovely Rita, she's a protégé of Jay-Z and a singer in her own right with a trio of number-one singles in the U.K. — "Hot Right Now," "How We Do (Party)" and "R.I.P." — as well as "Ora," a chart-topping album.

Madonna and Lola, apparently speaking in unison, said, "Rita is a talented beauty but what really drew us to her is the confidence she oozes through her music and her unique sense of style. On stage or off, in photos or on the street — she's a magnet! This is what the Material Girl brand is all about!"

  • (Photo: Shareif Ziyadat, FilmMagic)Kanye West has spoken. In an extensive interview with The New York Times' Jon Caramanica — just days before his sixth solo album, "Yeezus," drops — Kanye has sat down and given us the lowdown on what's going on inside his head.

As usual, the 36-year-old gifted rapper/producer speaks highly of Kanye, comparing himself at different points in the interview to Michael Jordan, Walt Disney, Howard Hughes, Anna Wintour, David Stern and Steve Jobs. The latter reference is perhaps the most insane nonsense to ever emerge from West's mouth.

  • (Photo: Tony Barson)It may have been Joel Madden who was busted for having pot in his Sydney, Australia hotel room, but it was his buddy Seal who went on a Twitter rant about it.

The British singer took to social media on Tuesday to defend his fellow The Voice Australia coach after police were called to Madden's hotel and found a small amount of marijuana.

While Madden was nothing but polite when discussing the incident and said on Tumblr, "Sydney is my adopted home and I appreciate the way the NSW police handled the situation. They have informed me there will be no charges. I hope this didn't cause too much drama for anyone," Seal expressed very different sentiments.

The "Kiss From A Rose" singer, who was once married to model Heidi Klum, defended Madden and touted his charity work, and then proceeded to lash out at what he calls "trash media." But no sooner did he rant than he thought better of it and deleted all but the following tweet:

  • The Lonely Island (Photo: Joe Scarnici)Sean "Diddy" Combs must have had a blast filming the Lonely Island’s video for "Go Kindergarten." During the clip, he simulates pulling his junk out in a nightclub, eats garbage from a trash can, punches actor/comedian Paul Rudd (Anchorman, The 40-Year-Old Virgin) in the face, cuts off Rudd's finger with garden shears, and delivers Robyn's baby in the middle of the dance floor. Oh yeah, and smashes a champagne glass only to stomp on the shards bare-footed.Read More »from Diddy Cuts off Paul Rudd’s Finger, Delivers Robyn’s Baby in New Lonely Island Video
