Stop The Presses!

Kanye performing in NYC (Photo: Theo Wargo)Leave it to Kanye West to turn an embarrassing moment into a massive onstage tirade. The rap star, who performed at a surprise show at New York's Roseland Ballroom Wednesday night for an Adult Swim Upfront party, took the opportunity to lambast paparazzi and tell the world that he "ain't no motherf---ing celebrity."

During his hour-plus set, West went on a rant for more than three minutes, declaring himself the "worst kinda celebrity" and saying he was fed up with people running up to him with cameras, asking him "dumbass questions, throwing me off my focus and sh-t."

It's likely that a recent incident in which West walked head first into a "Wrong Way" sign when paparazzi were following him and his lady love, Kim Kardashian, in Los Angeles, sparked the tirade.

  • Wade Robson (Photo: Denise Truscello)While the Jackson family's wrongful death lawsuit against AEG Live continues in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom, another Jackson-related drama is playing out.

Dancer/choreographer Wade Robson filed suit against the Michael Jackson estate last week, alleging that Jackson sexually abused him from age seven through 14. This morning he appeared on the "Today" show — and in a bombshell interview with host Matt Lauer, spilled the beans on his relationship with Jackson and explained why he waited until now to come forward with the allegations.

  • Frank Ocean (Photo: Jamie McCarthy)If you're tired of the same-old, same-old awards shows--best this, best that, yawn- the O Music Awards are coming back again this year to shake things up. MTV, VH1, and CMT's fourth annual show celebrating music, technology and fan influence will feature its usual round of unorthodox categories, with Beck and Frank Ocean leading the pack of nominees.

Beck and Ocean have two nods each. Other artists nominated include Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Miranda Lambert, Pussy Riot, Ed Sheeran, David Bowie, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, and Tyler, the Creator.

Of course, the awards categories themselves at this particular show are of as much interest as the colorful list nominees themselves. Returning categories this year include Digital Genius Award, Fan Army FTW, Best Web-Born Artist, Must Follow Artist on Twitter, Best Music App, Best Artist Instagram…and the fetchingly titled Too Much Ass for TV .
