Photo: Gary MillerEnglish folk rock band Mumford & Sons has announced that bassist Ted Dwayne has suffered a blood clot on the surface of his brain, and will undergo an immediate operation.

"Ted has been feeling unwell for a few days, and yesterday he was taken to a hospital to receive emergency treatment," said the band in a statement. "Ted has been receiving excellent care and we are being assured that he will recover quickly from surgery."
