At least eight people were injured Sunday when severeweather conditions caused the stage to collapse during Cheap Trick'sperformance at the Ottawa Bluesfest in Ottawa, Canada, reportsAP.

A downburst of air from a thunderstorm is believed to havecaused the main stage to deconstruct at around 7:20 p.m. ET, Environment Canadatold CBC News.

A 49-year-old man, who was working at the show, enduredinjuries in his pelvis, leg, and abdomen, local paramedics told CBC. Anotherman is believed to have suffered spinal injuries.

According to the CBC, the OntarioMinistry Of Labour is investigating the incident and has an inspector on site.

Cheap Trick managed to get off the stage before they were injured saidCBC reporter Stuart Mills.

"A giant gust of wind picked up a tarp and garbage fromacross the field and flung it toward the audience and lifted the whole stage --where Cheap Trick had been playing -- and almost like a convertible in a car,just folded it backward in the same direction," Mills

Rapper Bow Wow has revealed that he has a daughter in a letter to his fans on his website. "I waited so long to tell yall the truth because i was nervous on how yall would look at me," he wrote on his blog. Although he said his daughter is growing up fast, Bow Wow did not reveal how old his daughter is or how long he's kept her a secret.
