Stop The Presses!

Photo: Mike LawrieMany A-list entertainers such as Neil Diamond have been making sure to give special love to the city of Boston in the wake of last month's tragic marathon bombings. However, Rihanna doesn't seem to be among them.

After already having postponed the Boston stop on her Diamonds world tour in March due to illness, the pop star took the stage in Beantown a full hour and a half late Monday night on her makeup date.

Rihanna offered no explanation for her late arrival--and to make matters worse, her opening act, rapper A$AP Rocky, was a no-show reportedly due to illness. By the time she took the stage, she was greeted by a chorus of boos and jeers from the frustrated and bored crowd.

  • West at Gala with Kardashian (Photo: Stephen Lovekin)The Twitter-verse was all a-twitter Monday night after Kanye West took the stage at the Met Gala and performed new music wearing a studded mask.

Celebrity guests, including actress Jaime King and DJ A-Trak took to Vine to post clips (some of which have since been reposted on YouTube) of 'Ye performing some new tunes. Included in the set was "I Am God," a song that Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter told Rolling Stone features West "kind of screaming primally."

Kanye also sweet-talked his babymama-to-be Kim Kardashian via auto-tune, by singing about her awesomeness.

While reaction to the tracks is decidedly mixed, some fans are annoyed by Vine's short-clip format.

  • Lil' Kim (Photo: Johnny Nunez)These days Lil' Kim might be better known for her legal rather than rap battles. The one-time Queen of Hip-Hop has been countersued by an ex-business partner for $15 million for "abuse of control, gross mismanagement, corporate waste and other misconduct" in managing their company, International Rock Star Corp.

The counter complaint, filed in New York Supreme Court, is in response to a $1 million suit that Kim, whose real name is Kimberly Denise Jones, filed in March against lawyer Sunny Barkats and business associate Andrew Ro.

In the new suit, Ro says that Kim's behavior made it nearly impossible for him to land endorsement deals for their company and that she stopped showing up for meetings and answering the phone when he was close to securing deals for a whole slew of products, including a vodka line, an energy drink, a social media company, a perfume label, a Steve Madden shoe line, and even a honey maker.
