Britney Spears sounds like a pretty cool mom.
The pop star recently treated her sons, Sean Preston, 7, and Jayden James, 6, to an appearance in her music video for The Smurfs 2 soundtrack. Spears released Wednesday a few teaser images from the "Ooh La La" video that will premiere Thursday.
In one of the pictures, Britney holds hands with her stylish boys who are nearly as tall as their mother; their heads reach her shoulders. In a movie theater scene, mom sits in between them, enjoying popcorn and affectionately chatting with both.
The 31-year-old singer said the kids were pros during the filming. "They were actually really, really good on set," she told Ryan Seacrest in June. "They were, like, acting and my oldest son Preston was right on cue every time they would tell him to do something."
The boys also didn't require her supervision. Britney said they shot some of their scenes while she was getting her hair and makeup done. "Later on I got to see what they actually did on camera and it was adorable," she said.
This was a special activity for the boys. "They're obsessed with the Smurfs," she told the American Idol host. "We've seen The Smurfs movie a million trillion times and they were told they could be in the video and all this cool stuff, so that's the reason why I did it."
Aside from attending a Dodgers game with Britney in April, Preston and Jayden haven't made many recent appearances. Their father is Britney's ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
Britney is working on her 8th that is due out later this year.
