Christina Aguilera Debuts Her Nude ‘Lotus’ Album Cover Art

Christina Aguilera's album art for 'Lotus'

Like The Birth of Venus, Christina Aguilera looks like a pop star reborn in the freshly revealed cover art for her upcoming album, Lotus--"revealed" being the operative term. "The Voice" judge seems to be cleansing herself of her overtly raunchy "Xtina" persona with a new record, a sexy new bod and a heavenly, very strategically placed light.

Debuting her new album art on Twitter, as all pop stars do nowadays, Aguilera is seen emerging out of a baby pink lotus flower with nothing but her platinum white locks and a light burst covering her completely nude body.

Although the singer's lead single is called, "Your Body", this album art is all about her body! And she ain't afraid to show off her new curves at any turn. "Actually, the challenge I've always had is being too thin, so I love that now I have a booty, and obviously I love showing my cleavage," the star recently told Lucky magazine.

At a glance, her Lotus artwork feels more like a perfume ad than an album cover, but one hopes it will sound just as sweet.

So how will her new record sound?

"It is all about vocals," Aguilera told The Insider.  "The first thing you hear are just vocals on the CD -- which is really important for me coming off The Voice, to inspire that next generation of raw, great talented vocalists."

Of the album title itself, the singer said in a recent Twitter chat, "Album title: Lotus. Representing an unbreakable flower that survives under the hardest conditions and still thrives," she wrote." The lotus flower also happens to be a symbol of the "virtues of sexual purity", something that the album artwork kind of conveys...

Lotus drops on November 13.
