Katy Perry’s Cleavage Guests on Simpsons Christmas Special

Audiences can't seem to get enough of puppets accompanying Katy Perry's cleavage. Last Sunday, Perry made a guest appearance on The Simpsons' Christmas episode as crooked barkeep Moe Syslak's girlfriend with the Simpsons gang in puppet form--an indirect spoof on Perry's Sesame Street appearance a few months earlier. The only celebrity guest to ever appear in a live action Simpsons sequence, the Grammy-nominated singer pouted and cooed her way through the scene and sang along with their "39 Days Of Christmas" carol. Although not rendered into cartoon form, Katy Perry's red latex dress with decals of the Simpsons' faces made her fit right into the animated world, as most of her wardrobe choices do.

In September, Katy Perry made headlines from an appearance on Sesame Street singing a rendition of her 2009 hit "Hot N Cold" with Elmo. Orignally slated to air on New Year's Eve, the video quickly leaked onto the Internet and had parents raging about the excessive amount of boob flying around, as Perry ran around in a bustier top for most of the song. The negative parental reaction caused the video to be pulled from the planned telecast and spawned a Saturday Night Live skit where Perry played a bouncy babysitter from the Bronx wearing a low-cut Elmo shirt. This brought to mind SNL's Harry Potter spoof where Lindsay Lohan played a post-pubescent Hermione after a media frenzy about the Lohan's "sudden" chest development in 2004. Can't go wrong with jokes featuring boobs for eye candy. But as it goes with most things parents loathe (all the good stuff), everyone else seems to be loving and encouraging the attention Perry's bust is getting.

This probably won't be her last comedy cameo, as Perry's volumptuous capacity for wide-eyed innuendo both in and out of the studio has made her a favorite with humorists and boob-lovers alike. Along with her widely publicized Simpsons appearance, the recently wed Perry received four Grammy nominations just a few days before, including Album of the Year for Teenage Dream. A big couple months for her big assets.
