Kelly Clarkson Shows No Bridezilla Tendencies on Wedding Song “Tie It Up”

There’s nothing more beautiful than a woman glowing with love, and Kelly Clarkson is beaming on her new song “Tie It Up.”

On the single cover, she’s showing off her wedding ring and also looking giddy in a white veil and floral-print dress.

Though she premiered the song at the CMA Music Festival last week, the studio version of the track hit the Internet Wednesday.

On the country song that boasts electric and acoustic guitar, hand claps. and a driving kick-drum, Clarkson sings about a love-at-first sight encounter that quickly progressed to marriage.

She sings, “First date first kiss, we were checkin’ off the list/Then you were gettin’ down on your knee.”

In the chorus, she shows no Bridezilla tendencies as she happily sings about the joys of wedding planning, “Let’s set the date/Let’s hire a band/Let’s cut the cake.” She can’t hide her excitement, singing, “Can’t wait for forever to start.”

The normally private celeb describes her anticipation for post-nuptial festivities. After the wedding is over, she sings, “We can run to the room/Kick-start the honeymoon/Don’t it sound like a whole lotta fun?”

We’re happy for Kelly and her fiancé, Brandon Blackstock. Don’t you just want to look up their registry and buy them a gift already?

After performing the song at the CMA Music Festival, Kelly panicked about misplacing her wedding ring. “I’m secretly freaking out right now abut where my ring is,” she said to the audience, Just Jared reported. “I know Brandon is having a heart attack. Sorry, baby, I love you! I got nervous about tonight so I probably took it off while doing something.”

According to reports, Kelly and Brandon are scheduled to wed on October 20 in Nashville. Kelly announced the engagement last December. Blackstock proposed to Clarkson about a year after they began dating.

Blackstock is the son of Kelly’s manager, Narvel Blackstock, Reba McEntire’s husband.
