The sultry star, known for her wild hair color and racy dance routines, was selected by the company last spring to be the face of its "100 Years Skincare for Life" campaign.
At the time, a representative for the brand, Markus Pinger, told the Independent, "We are excited to have Rihanna supporting us in our celebration and building a new generation of fans." The company released a photo with the announcement showing the pop diva posing seductively.
But the singer has apparently hit a wrong note with Nivea's new CEO, Stefan Heidenreich, who, according to the Daily Mail, told the German newspaper Welt, "Rihanna is a no-go. ... I do not understand how to bring the core brand of Nivea in conjunction with Rihanna." He added, "Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family, and reliability."
The singer fired back on Twitter with a photo of the corporate head with the comment, "No caption necessary."

This isn't the first time the Barbadian has had a run-in for being too sexy: She was told to get off a farmer's land and "find god" while filming a music video in a bikini in Northern Ireland.
