Paul Oakenfold, Afrojack, and Alanis Morissette Team Up For Funny or Die DJ Parody

Leave it to Funny or Die to take a solid swing at the electronic dance music world.

In a hilarious new video, the site teamed up some of the world's top DJs — Paul Oakenfold, Dillon Francis, Afrojack, Boys Noize, and Destructo — to lampoon DJ Mag's annual Top 100 DJ's list.

In the mock campaign video, Oakenfold dresses up as a chef and makes fun of himself for once DJ'ing on Sir Richard Branson's private island, Boys Noize promises more techno music education in schools, Francis discusses the importance of a DJs love for burritos (but for another top DJ … not himself!), Destructo makes fun of the HARD franchise and promises never to play Avicii's "Levels" in his sets, Afrojack makes fun of wrecking his sports car, and Alanis, well …. She just plain steals the whole show by completely making fun of DJ culture in general.

All that's missing that would make this video perfect is Martin Solveig inserting some weird tennis reference.

The real DJ Mag Top 100 list is a hotly debated topic in the EDM community. While it has plenty of critics due to its inherent nature of ranking DJs against each other, DJs (and their publicists) still love to list their position in their official biographies. DJ Mag defines its list as "the world's definitive DJ poll."
