Stop The Presses!

Rihanna Forced To Cancel Second Tour Date In Less Than A Week

Rihanna (Photo: Dave M. Benett)Get some rest, Ri Ri! Superstar Rihanna just announced that she will be unable to perform in Baltimore Tuesday night, due to the fact that she's recovering from the flu and laryngitis.

Rihanna's Diamonds World Tour has barely started--it kicked off Friday--and this is already the second date she's had to cancel. The singer rescheduled Sunday night's stop in Boston for the same reason, saying she was under doctor's orders not to take the stage.

"#BOSTON this is the hardest thing for me to deal with! I feel like we've been waiting on this day forever, and I'm hurt that I let you down," Rihanna tweeted on Sunday.

"I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down," she added. "I'm so embarrassed about this! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes!"

The singer didn't tweet anything to her Baltimore fans yet--let's hope she's taking it easy right now!

Rihanna's tour promoter, Live Nation, is instructing those affected to hold on to their tickets for a rescheduled date. Her next tour stop is Thursday in Pennsylvania.
