Today marks an historic event in Yahoo! Music history--as we announce a new relationship with Clear Channel Media and Entertainment in which the distinguished media company will become the Yahoo! Media Network's premiere digital radio service, and provide our 167 million U.S. users with an unprecedented, greatly enhanced entertainment experience.

Central will be the company's well-known iHeartRadio platform, which will offer users instant access to more than 1,000 of the nation's most popular live broadcast and digital-only radio stations, as well as user-initiated, commercial-free Custom Stations that tap into iHeartRadio's unrivaled catalog of more than 400,000 artists and 14 million songs.

Significantly, the deal also makes Yahoo! the exclusive web and mobile destination for fans looking forward to the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival, scheduled to take place Sept. 21-22 at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. Additionally, Yahoo! will be Clear Channel's web and mobile live webcast partner for 11 more live events in the coming year.
