The flood of sonic delicious continues at Yahoo's SXSW headquarters at Brazos Hall in Austin, TX. Los Angeles pop band Superhumanoids, Scottish folk rockers The Waterboys, folk punk musician Frank Turner, and legendary power pop pioneers Shoes have swung by on Thursday to tape some exclusive sets. And somehow beating out sleep deprivation, hangovers, sun stroke, and whatever other ghastly SXSW ailments there are, Y! Music editors are awake and tweeting away at day three of SXSW's music offerings. Plus, evidence that our Dave DiMartino is alive and well!

Things were intensifying by Day 2 at SXSW. But I’m pretty lucky that I picked the Pandora party to attend last night. There, I witnessed some spectacular stage diving from two artists, and was introduced to the future of music. Earlier in the day, I saw some street dancers from New Orleans getting wicked. They gave me hope that this whole annoying Harlem Shake faze would eventually be going away.

Olivia Wilde says that SXSW is "the greatest festival ever" because it incorporates both film and music in a real way with "no schmoozing"--something she appreciates, as she's currently in Austin to promote not one but two movies. For anyone attending the annual South By Southwest Festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas the week of March 12, the decisions are painstaking. Who do you miss, so you can see someone else? You can't see everything, but here are the big names who you likely don't want to miss this Thursday.

1) Meat Puppets, Dave Grohl, and the Sound City Players, 8pm, Stubb's - If you're up at 11am, then you should be at the Austin Convention Center for Dave Grohl's SXSW keynote address. But at night, it's time for rock's friendliest superstar to invite the Meat Puppets to open and then for Stevie Nicks, John Fogerty, Nirvana's Krist Novoselic, Rick Springfield, Fear's Lee Ving, Cheap Trick's Rick Nielsen, Rage Against The Machine's Brad Wilk, Slipnot's Corey Taylor, and more to play at what is the festival's craziest, most star-studded concert. If you end up having grandkids, you'll be telling them about this one.

The Austin music festival South By Southwest continued apace this Wednesday...and while persistent, maddening, downright cruel rumors of a Daft Punk secret show on the steps of the Capitol Building proved untrue, I still managed to see enough awesome music to compensate for that daft disappointment. While SXSW can sometimes be an aggravating exercise in FOMO, or "Fear Of Missing Out"--there is so much music to take in, it's inevitable that many opportunities and gigs will be missed--I attempted to adopt an anti-FOMO, more pro-YOLO attitude on my second day at SXSW. I stopped to smell the BBQ, so to speak, and just tried to enjoy the moment. Here are the Wednesday moments I enjoyed the most:

Yahoo! welcomed rock 'n' roll funnymen Tenacious D to our SXSW headquarters at Brazos Hall Wednesday night to a packed house for an exclusive performance! Lead singer and comedian Jack Black had a premiere screening and cast Q&A for his new web series "Ghost Ghirls" before hitting the stage with musical cohort Kyle Gass. Even with just acoustic guitars, Tenacious D rocked the house so hard the power blew! Check out what our editors captured in the crowd:
