Rising female pop sensation Dev shares credit for thesuccess of The Far East Movement's hit "Like A G6." The song's standout chorus,"Like a G6, like a G6," was actually borrowed from Dev's song "Booty Bounce."

Both "Like A G6" and "Booty Bounce" were produced by theCataracs, who also wrote "Booty Bounce."

When the Cataracs duo was creating the "Like A G6" beat, they decided to incorporate a portion of the second verse from Dev's "BootyBounce" record. The usage is seamless and sounds as if Dev's "poppin bottles inthe ice, like a blizzard" lyrics were written specifically for "Like A G6."

The ode to the Gulfstream G650 airplane was released in April. In August, Dev issued avideo for "Booty Bounce" which has already received more than 1 million viewson YouTube.

In October, Dev signed a recording deal with Universal Republic. Her first official single,"Bass Down Low," was recently serviced to radio stations. The "Bass Down Low"video is in production and directed by Ethan Adler, who also helmed "BootyBounce" as well as Bruno Mars' "Just The Way You Are" and Jason Derulo's "WhatIf."
