There's a growing fanbase out there for Jordan Witzigreuter--who is professionally known as The Ready Set, and whose new album, I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming, is getting noticed in all the right places.
Released on the Decaydance/Sire label, the album--the first under the Ready Set banner--represents the fruition of 20-year-old Witzigreuter's journey as musician. And in these days of bedroom recordings--see also Owl City, etc.--it appears to be a growing trend: Boy meet band. A multi-instrumentalist who play keyboards, drums and sings, he's essentially a solo artist with a touring band of accompanists, but still one with a significant amount of touring under his belt. Among those artists The Ready Set have appeared with are Good Charlotte, Forever the Sickest Kids, Boys Like Girls and Hey Monday, among others.
