Britney Spears is hitting the studio this week with hitmakers Max Martin and Dr. Luke, who are acting as co-executive producers on her follow-up to 2008's Circus LP, according to MTV News.
"Brit is recording a big big BIG new song on Friday with #MaxMartin & @TheDrLuke. I'm pretty sure it's a smash!" manager Adam Leber tweeted late Monday night.
That's not much of a stretch: Martin has worked with Britney on manyhits including "... One More Time," and Dr. Luke wrote or co-wroteBritney's "Circus," Ke$ha's "Tik Tok" and Katy Perry's "CaliforniaGurls" and "Hot N Cold." The pair collaborated on Kelly Clarkson's 2005hit "Since U Been Gone."
Leber had tweeted latein September that the album is "going incredibly well. Possibly off tothe best start yet. We have some amazing tracks. No release dateset..."
Dr. Luke recently told the Hollywood Reporterthat he was excited to be co-executive producing with Martin, "theperson who kind of invented Britney, and to make good music."
