Gavin DeGraw Discharged From Hospital

Pop rocker Gavin DeGraw has been discharged from Manhattan's Bellevue hospital after suffering multiple injuries sustained when he was assaulted by a group of assailants early Monday morning, but he has canceled all of his upcoming tour and promotional commitments. DeGraw's representative told Us Weekly that he has backed out of opening gigs for Train and Maroon 5 in Wantagh, New York and Mansfield, Massachusetts this weekend, and dropped out of his scheduled appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly on Wednesday.

DeGraw suffered a concussion, broken nose, black eyes and various cuts and bruises in the attack. According to the New York Post, the singer was randomly attacked around 3:50 a.m. on 6th Street and 1st Avenue as he headed home from a night of drinking with friends. After the attack, the singer was hit by a taxi several blocks away as he stumbled home.
