Listen: Poly Styrene Remixed by Hercules and Love Affair

Click here to listen to Poly Styrene's "Ghoulish (Hercules & Love Affair Remix)"

"Ghoulish" was among the last songs ever recorded by Poly Styrene, the punk rock legend who passed away back in April at the age of 53. The track was written as part of her collaboration with producer Youth, with whom she aimed to rework the sound of Sixties girl group pop with the textures and beats of modern electronic dance music. This remix by disco hit makers Hercules and Love Affair pushes the song even further toward the dance floor with a slinky, groovy track with just a touch of Apocalyptic dread. The "Ghoulish" single will be released on August 8th through Future Noise Music, but you can preview the remix right now.
