Paramore’s Hayley Williams Abuses Band Mates in New Music Video

In the new video for Paramore's "Playing God," singer Hayley Williams runs roughshod over her bandmates, drugging them during a tea party, tying them up in a basement, and then subjecting them to an interrogation. She frees them to perform the chorus — but the reprieve doesn't last through the end of the song.

Paramore will play a few shows in the UK this week before heading back to the U.S. for a slew of radio-station-sponsored holiday shows in December.

The band is also up for a People's Choice Award in the Favorite Rock Band category, where they will competes against Daughtry, Linkin Park, Maroon 5 and Nickelback. Williams herself is up for Favorite Song for "Airplanes," her collaboration with B.o.B. The People's Choice Awards airs on January 5, 2011.
