Watch Bruce Jam With Jimmy Fallon

When the news surfaced that Bruce Springsteen was going to perform with The Roots on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon many fans tried to guess what songs he'd perform — but it's likely nobody predicted that he'd open with a cover of Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair." He also sat down for an interview (watch below) with Fallon in which he talked about how he originally wrote "Fire" for Elvis Presley, why he wrote 70 songs for Darkness On The Edge of Town and how Jimmy Iovine talked him into giving "Because the Night" to Patti Smith.
