2010 Stone Temple Pilots

Stadium-rockers Stone Temple Pilots have reunited and released their self-titled, sixth full-length album on May 25 along with a deluxe edition containing several bonus tracks. Celebrate STP's reunion and new album with Yahoo! Music as we take a look back at all of their videos, including their newest "Between The Lines."


2001 Shangri-La Dee Da

STP released Shangri-La Dee Da in 2001, then a greatest-hits package titled Thank You two years later. Between 2003 and 2008, the band took an extended break and singer Scott Weiland became the frontman of the band Velvet Revolver.


1999 No. 4

The band reunited for the 1999 album No. 4 after Weiland's 1998 solo album, 12 Bar Blues and the remaining members of STP, Eric Kretz (drums) and brothers Robert and Dean DeLeo (bass and guitar respectively), connected with vocalist Dave Coutts to release the self-titled album Talk Show in 1997. Weiland was sentenced to a year in LA country jail for violating his probation shortly after finishing No. 4.


1996 Tiny Music…Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop

STP's third album, Tiny Music...Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop, released in 1996 and entered the charts at number four. After the album released, Weiland relapsed on his heroine addiction and entered a rehabilitation facility for his second time, cancelling the tour in support of the album.


1994 Purple

Riding the popularity of the band's debut Core, Purple shot to number one when it was released in 1994. Afterwards, the band took some time off during which Weiland was arrested for possession of heroin and cocaine and sentenced to a rehabilitation program.


1992 Core

After several name changes due to legal issues and record label pressure, the band chose the name Stone Temple Pilots in 1990 so they could keep the initials STP from their previous, explicit choice. The band's debut album Core released in 1992 with the singles "Creep," "Plush," "Sex Type Thing" and "Wicked Garden."
