Thom Yorke Gets Jiggy To Gaga, Rednex, GNR In “Lotus Flower” Parodies

Perhaps not since Beyonce's "Single Ladies" has a music video's dance become such an instant Internet meme as has Radiohead's "Lotus Flower," which features 'Head frontman Thom Yorke flailing about a deserted warehouse, caught in the throes of dance and seeming positively possessed. The vid premiered last Friday...and by Saturday, the Interweb was awash in parodies.

The clip that started it all, perhaps unsurprisingly, was Thom putting his hands up to--you guessed it--"Single Ladies"!

After that, the mashups came fast and furious, with Thom shimmying to tunes by everyone from Lady Gaga and Katy Perry to Guns N' Roses, KC & The Sunshine Band, and Rednex. And somehow, no matter what the song, it always worked. It never got old.

But our favorite "Lotus Flower" parodies are the movie-inspired ones. Whether it's Thom flashdancing, Black Swanning, or getting jiggy with an '80s-era Patrick Dempsey, it's totally compulsive viewing. Is it too late to book Thom to perform at the Oscars?

What's your favorite "Lotus Flower" parody?
