2012 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Nominees Playlist

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame has issued their list of nominees for the year 2012. Like many, I have serious reservations about the Hall Of Fame. When you compare artists who are still being criminally overlooked to some who have made the cut it can seem... well... ridiculous. Ok, it doesn't just seem ridiculous, it is ridiculous. There, I said it. But I have to be honest -- when the list comes out each year I'm one of the first who goes scrambling to see who was nominated. I just can't help myself. This year, it made me especially happy to see The Beastie Boys and The Cure make the cut. I was never a big fan of Guns N' Roses, and I think Joan Jett's body of work is a bit thin for a Hall of Fame, but I can accept the fact that they're on the list - their influence is undeniable. So while we won't loose any sleep over the choices, it would be nice if the Hall put a bit more transparency and objectivity into their selection process.

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame usually inducts 5 to 7 artists each year, so the biggest question now is which artists in this list do you think should actually be inducted?
