Bread Covers

Bread is one of those bands that people loved to hate, but they laughed all the way to the bank. This 70s outfit from Los Angeles, California are the fathers of the genre we now call soft rock. They recorded mellow and sensitive songs that sold boatloads, not just because of their vibe, but because they were chock-full of melodic hooks that no human being can forget once they hear them -- whether you like it, or not. The band had an incredible 13 songs chart on the Billboard Hot 100 charts during their heyday between 1970 and 1977. Bread is no doubt, a guilty pleasure for many, this playlist includes 10 Bread songs as remade by artists unafraid to admit the influence of this legendary soft rock band.
