The Billboard radio chart ranks the top songs across all genres and formats based on radio airplay as reported by Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems. Nielson BDS uses digital pattern technology to recognize the songs being played on over 2,000 radio stations across North America. The radio songs chart is updated weekly and is a good view what is currently at the head of the pack. This playlist includes the top 10 songs on the Billboard Radio Songs chart for the week of October 24, 2009. If you listen to popular radio stations chances are high that you're familiar with these songs. If you're like me and don't listen to mainstream radio, this is a good glimpse into what's getting the most exposure out there.
