It's that time of year again. Spring is here and sound of lawnmowers are starting to fill the air. My lawn is in pretty poor shape this year, to the point where I should probably stop fighting the weeds and just re-sod. I used to really hate cutting the grass, but I've found that with the right mindset it can become an intense suburban-zen experience. The drone of the lawnmower, the sun on spring flowers and the smell of fresh cut grass can all help bring you into a yard-work state of mind that few can attain.
