Pitchfork Media: Best New Music Playlist

I haven't published a Pitchfork playlist since back on May 1st, so I thought it was time to check out the web's premier music  taste-maker to see what new nuggets I could find. Although I find the writing sickeningly pretentious at times,  I will freely admit that the site has introduced me to a whole lot of great music over the years. Instead of spending hours reading pages of pseudo-intellectual album reviews, I usually just pull each of Pitchfork's the top-rated new albums into my Rhapsody library and make my own decisions about what I hear. Sometimes I think it's trash, but sometimes I find an album I fall in love with. And that's why Pitchfork is a valuable music discovery tool for me. This playlist includes 10 tracks that Pitchfork currently has labelled as "best new music" and all of them are worth a serious listen even if you pass on the Pitchfork review.
