The Rolling Stones’ #1s

Everyone knows that the Rolling Stones' catalog is gigantic. And everyone knows that the band has reached the very pinnacle of success. But do you know how many Rolling Stones songs actually reached the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart?

The answer surprised me. It's only 8.

"19th Nervous Breakdown" and "Start Me Up" came close, but peaked at #2, and a perennial favorite like "Sympathy For The Devil" barely cracked the top 100, peaking at #97. It just goes to show, the charts are a poor measure of quality.

This playlist includes the Stones eight songs that actually made it to the number one spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Can you name them without peaking?
