We had plans to go out on the lake with a bunch of friends on Memorial Day, but unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate. So instead, everyone came over to our place to share some food, drinks and laughs. We sent the kids upstairs and they were unbelievably well behaved! Anyway, I went upstairs at one point to check on the unnatural silence -- the boys were watching a DVD and the girls were all trying my wife's silk scarves on and acting like divas. I suggested they do a fashion show for us. They loved the idea and transformed into runway models. Some of the boys were on security detail while others became male models.
As they started to come down the steps to the impromptu runway I scrambled for my Sonos controller to pull up some appropriate songs for a fashion show. It ended up being a ton of fun and music was a key ingredient.
