Sometimes I'm in the mood to listen to albums in full, but other times I need a playlist. And when I find myself with "playlist block" I've found some surefire ways to pull songs together into a cohesive listen that usually does not let me down. One of these methods includes using Metacritic to see what the top ranked albums are for a particular genre. I go through each album and add a single stand out track from each -- the end result is consistently stunning. This playlist is a good example of what I'm talking about. I created it by picking a single song from each of the top rated R&B albums on Metacritic.com. Many of these are favorites and others may be brand new to you.
This is a playlist that won't let the critics down and probably won't let you down either.
