Songs Inspired By Women Named “Jenny”

The nickname "Jenny" is a short form of the name "Jennifer", which has Cornish origins. The name means "white" or "fair" and saw a peak in popularity during the decade of the 1970s when it was the 133rd most popular name for girls. The name has become steadily less popular over the years and in 2008 it was just the 601st most popular name for girls. Because of its relative popularity, it's no surprise that there have been a ton of great songs inspired by the name "Jenny". For this playlist I have selected 15 of the very best. I have eliminated the forms "Jennifer" and "Jen" from consideration, so if you have a friend named "Jenny" this is a list you really need to pass on to her.
