49 years ago today a young Jewish kid from Minnesota legally changed his name from Robert  Zimmerman to Bob Dylan. He had a record contract and had signed with Albert Grossman to be his manager. His future was indeed bright. This folk-singer disciple of Woody Guthrie became known for his poetic lyrics, songwriting, and instantly identifiable voice and phrasing. As we know, Dylan went on to become arguably the biggest singer-songwriter the world has ever known. England has the Beatles, America has Dylan. And like the Beatles, Dylan's influence on popular music is so enormous that it would be impossible to measure. For this playlist I've selected 20 songs that mention Bob Dylan by name.
