Beyonce And Metallica Added To Video Music Awards

(8/21/03, 6 p.m. ET) -- Beyonce and Metallica have just joined the list of artists who will perform live at MTV's Video Music Awards on August 28 at New York's Radio City Music Hall. Other artists playing at the ceremony include Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Good Charlotte, Coldplay, and Christina Aguilera, just to name a few.
Appearing on the telecast will be Britney Spears, Jay-Z, Mya, Missy Elliott, Sean Paul, Method Man, Iggy Pop, tennis star Serena Williams, and cast members from Queer Eye For The Straight Guy and Crank Yankers.
Fans can expect to also see Nelly, Avril Lavigne, DMX, Pharrell Williams, Duran Duran, P. Diddy, Ashanti, Ludacris, Evanescence, Kelly Clarkson, Ludacris, Hilary Duff, Redman, David Spade, Snoop Dogg, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Pamela Anderson, Drew Barrymore, Ben Stiller, and Jason Biggs among others at the 2003 VMA's.
Comedian Chris Rock will host the ceremony.
