Papa Roach Making Progress On New Album While Touring

(8/22/01, 1 p.m. ET) - Papa Roach has finished the OzzFest 2001 tour, and is now thinking about its next album. The band spent the tour on a bus-turned-portable studio, and bassist Tobin Experance told LAUNCH the band has lots of material for the follow-up to the triple-platinum Infest: "We got a studio on the back of one of our buses and we've been working real hard, got a lot of ideas, a lot of songs down, so. We go to Europe, we're doing Japan and Mexico, and then we go back to the studio."
On OzzFest, Papa Roach had an entire tour bus outfitted with Pro-tools and studio gear, but a spokesperson for the band couldn't confirm if the studio-bus made it all the way to Europe, where the band is currently playing a string of festival dates.
