Nas And Kelis Get Married In Small Ceremony

Rapper Nas and his fiance Kelis quietly got married in a small ceremony in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday (January 8). Allhiphop.com reports that the ceremony was attended by Nas' father jazz musician Olu Dara and a small group of family and friends. Nas' brother rapper Jungle of the Bravehearts was the best man.
Nas and Kelis met at an after party for the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards in New York. It was love at first sight as Nas proposed to Kelis at her mother's home on Christmas Eve 2002.
Nas is currently promoting his latest album, Street's Disciple. The set is Number 50 on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week.
