Ciara Films Third Music Video With Lots Of Dancing And A Visit From Ludacris

With two chart-topping tracks already firmly under her belt, singer/songwriter Ciara is ready to release her third single. The First Lady Of Crunk 'n' B has selected the song "Oh" featuring Ludacris to be the next single from her debut album Goodies. She tells MTV.com, "It's a song I recorded in one week. I didn't waste time and just write to any beat. If I don't like a beat I won't work with it."
Ciara just wrapped filming of the video, with directors The Fat Cats at the helm and featuring a guest appearance by Ludacris. In the video, Ciara makes heavy use of her complicated dance moves as she and her friends are shown dancing in the street, on top of cars and even on the roof of a parking garage. Ciara says, "The choreography is very intense. In rehearsals we just go crazy to find the best moves that we can." The video was choreographed by Devyne Stephens, whose credits include work with Jennifer Lopez and Usher.
Her first single, "Goodies," was Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for seven weeks in the fall of 2004. Her second single, "1-2 Step" with Missy Elliot has been at Number Two on the same chart for the last seven weeks.
Upcoming television appearances for Ciara include MTV TRL Awards on February 21 and the syndicated Soul Train Awards on March 12. Ciara is nominated for Soul Train awards in four categories and will receive the Sammy Davis, Jr. Entertainer Of The Year Award at the event.
