The Black Eyed Peas will release their highly anticipated new album, Monkey Business, Tuesday (June 7). The set is the follow-up to the group's 2003 double platinum effort, Elephunk. With the success of Elephunk, the group has had to overcome internal problems, as member Apl. de. Ap became addicted to speed. He told Extra, "It's been an overwhelming year for us. It was like an escape for me."

Group frontman Will.I.Am explained, "We took him to rehab. We said, 'Just go in for five minutes and talk to these people.'"

Group member Fergie also had to overcome her own demons. She was addicted to crystal meth before joining the group.
