Carey, Killers Join MTV Awards Roster

Mariah Carey and The Killers have joined the list of performers for the MTV Video Music Awards. The 2005 Video Music Awards show, hosted by Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, will air live from Miami on Aug. 28.
"We are working closely with Mariah and The Killers to present two of the most sensational show-stopping performances for this year's VMAs," MTV President Christina Norman said in a statement Tuesday.
Previously announced performers include Kanye West, Green Day and Kelly Clarkson.
