Justin Timberlake Was 'Addicted' To Britney

(4/3/03, 6 p.m. ET) -- Justin Timberlake said that he was "addicted" to pop princess Britney Spears at the time they broke up last year, amid rumors that she had cheated on him.
"I was addicted to Britney. But that's love for you. No one knows what went on between us except us. What I will say is I was never unfaithful," the singer told Marie Claire magazine in a candid interview.
Timberlake added that he and Spears have since settled whatever differences they may have had. "We're friends now," Timberlake said. "We're not mad at each other. I had a lot of angst. I was caught up in the fact that I was breaking up with someone I had been with for four years."
The *NSYNC singer said he directed his emotions towards the completion of his debut solo album, Justified. "I pretty much lived in the studio for two months and just put it all in my work," Timberlake said.
Timberlake also spoke about his sex life during the interview. He told the magazine. "I don't think there is anything a thirtysomething woman could bring on that would corrupt me," he said.
"I've been doing this since I was 15. Sex has never been taboo for me," he noted. "I enjoy it, and I praise it, and I celebrate it openly and funly--if that's a word."
Timberlake's 45-date Justified & Stripped co-headlining tour with Christina Aguilera will kick off June 4 in Phoenix, Arizona.
