'The Walking Dead' preview -- 'The Suicide King': Where's the baby's mother? [Video]

There is action aplenty when the third season of "The Walking Dead" resumes Feb. 10 on AMC with an episode titled "The Suicide King." But as we see in the preview clip here, even the quiet moments can prove to be jolting when you're trying to survive a zombie apocalypse.

While Hershel puts his medicals skills to use treating a member of Tyreese's group, Beth enters the scene holding Lori's baby. Tyreese's sister, Sasha, asks how old the baby is. "Barely a week," Hershel answers, which is jolt No. 1 -- it's only been a week since Lori died and Glenn and Maggie were tortured by the Governor in Woodbury.

Sasha then asks Beth how she's feeling, assuming that she's Lil Asskicker's mother.

    "She's not mine," Beth says.

"Where's the mother?" Sasha asks. A room full of silence, including that of young Carl in the background, gives her the answer.

Sunday's new episode, the ninth of Season 3, finds Rick and company still fighting a war against the Governor's people in Woodbury, with Daryl trapped in a Governor-forced showdown with his brother, Merle.
