An executive producer for the Globes confirmed the appearance, but Adele won't just be going for the show: her James Bond theme "Skyfall" is in the running for Best Original Song , competing against Taylor Swift's "Safe & Sound" from The Hunger Games, Jon Bon Jovi's "Not Running Anymore" from Stand Up Guys, Keith Urban's "For You" from Act of Valor and "Suddenly" from Les Misérables

Adele has kept a relatively low profile since she and boyfriend Simon Konecki announced the pregnancy in June, though her breakout 2011 album 21 has continued to dominate the charts. The LP sold 4.41 million copiesin 2012 and became the first album in the SoundScan era to top Billboard's year-end sales list two years in a row.
