    Ben Flajnik, Former Bachelor Star, Using Online Dating App Tinder

    What's a modern, unattached man looking for love to do? Former Bachelor star Ben Flajnik has quietly graduated from rose ceremonies into the realm of online dating, he revealed on Twitter last week.

    The San Francisco-based winemaker, who headlined the 16th season of The Bachelor in January 2012, has recently begun to use online dating app Tinder, a fan revealed on Wednesday, Jan. 30.

    "Haha did this just happen? Hit me up on tinder," a Texas coed tweeted at Flajnik, 30, along with a screenshot of the bachelor's Tinder profile. Friendly Flajnik gamely tweeted back a few minutes later: "tinder is hilarious."

    The former reality show star has been keeping a low profile since ending his engagement to fiancee Courtney Robertson, 29, who competed (and won) on his season of the ABC dating show. The couple were engaged for 11 months after Flajnik dropped to one knee during the finale of the show in Switzerland, but ultimately decided to call it quits on their relationship in October 2012.

    "In many ways, I felt brainwashed," Robertson, an L.A.-based model, told Us Weekly of the show’s process late last year. "You're so closed off!"

    Additionally, just four months after proposing to Robertson, Flajnik was photographed smooching several women in exclusive images obtained by Us. The resulting fallout left the pair with a shaky relationship at best.

    "I've never experienced heartache like this," Robertson told Us. "We had baby names picked out! I put up with more than I should." Ironically, immediately following the show, Flajnik had assured fans that he and Robertson wanted to have a long courtship away from reality TV cameras.

    "We kind of looked back at some of the other Bachelor relationships that didn't work out and the reason for that is you have so much pressure to move in together and set a date and all this kind of stuff," he mused. "Let's figure out who we are together before we do any of that and take the pressure off."
