The Black Crowes Cover 'Tonight I'll Be Staying Here with You' – Song Premiere

In advance of their “Lay Down With Number 13” tour, the Black Crowes have released their cover of Bob Dylan’s "Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You."

The country-rock ballad originally appeared on Dylan’s 1969 album Nashville Skyline, and has since been covered by artists including Johnny Cash, Jeff Beck, Cher and Sugarland. Now, the hit will be featured on the Black Crowes’ Wiser for the Time (Silver Arrow/Megaforce Records), set for release on March 19th.

"The Black Crowes have always covered a lot of Bob's songs," Chris Robinson, lead vocalist and guitarist, tells Rolling Stone. "In my mind, this great tapestry of music we are involved in cannot be weaved without sharing Bob's mighty threads!"

Tickets for Lay Down With Number 13, went on sale January 11. The first 15 shows – including dates in London, Chicago, Nashville, Boston, Atlanta and New York City – sold out immediately, and the band has since promised an announcement about a second batch of dates starting in May.
