David Cassidy, star of The Partridge Family, was charged with driving under the influence last night in upstate New York after tests indicated his blood-alcohol content was above the legal limit. Cassidy was pulled over sometime around midnight after failing to dim his headlights, reports The Associated Press, and it was later discovered that his blood-alcohol content was .10; New York's legal limit is .08.
Cassidy was released on $2,500 bail, but faces a felony charge due to a prior conviction for driving under the influence in Florida in 2011. The actor currently lives in Florida but was in New York to attend a racing meet.
