New York-based Yellow Ostrich will be releasing their next album, Strange Land, on March 6th. While the album is self-produced like their last, The Mistress, the band explains that it is sonically an expansion on The Mistress' spare sounds. The lead single off Strange Land is the catchy and guitar-heavy "The Shakedown," which singer-guitarist Alex Schaff explains is "about imaginary people. The guitar is inspired by Neil Young."
