    First Photos of Blue Ivy Carter Released

    We thought the news of the weekend would be Adele's predicted Grammy dominance or Brian Wilson moving like Jagger – but tonight the bundle of joy that is Blue Ivy Carter hit the internet. Beyonce and Jay-Z posted five photographs of their new baby girl on tumblr, answering many questions, including which of her parent's hairstyles she would inherit.

    The post includes a hand-written note that says "We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives. – The Carter Family." We wouldn't be surprised, however, if one of these adorable photos ends up blown up to the size of an IMAX screen on the stage of the Staples Center this Sunday.

      I usually don't go in for celebrity baby pictures, but Miss Blue Ivy is a cutie! And such personality already - she will keep them busy, and laughing, I am sure.
