    Free e-book previews new works from Pollan, others

    NEW YORK (AP) — Some literary sneak previews have just been published. Fans of Michael Pollan, Kate Atkinson or Sarah Dessen can read excerpts from their upcoming works in a free e-book.

    "Buzz Books 2013: Spring/Summer" was released Tuesday by Publishers Lunch, an online industry newsletter. The new book includes previews of 28 releases, from Pollan's "Cooked" to Atkinson's "Life After Life." Other authors featured include Joe Hill, Meg Wolitzer and Ruth Ozeki.

    "Buzz Books" also lists dozens of others releases coming out over the next few months and includes links that enable readers to pre-order or purchase books.
