The Recording Academy has set dates for the annual Grammy Awards ceremony for 2014 and 2015. Next year's Grammys will be held January 24th and will return to Los Angeles' Staples Center. The 2015 Grammys have been set for February 8th. CBS will broadcast both awards shows live.
This year's Grammys took place February 10th at the Staples Center and featured Bruno Mars, Sting and Rihanna paying tribute to Bob Marley; Elton John, Mavis Staples, Mumford & Sons, Zac Brown and Alabama Shakes' Brittany Howard honoring Levon Helm of the Band; and host LL Cool J teaming with Tom Morello, Public Enemy's Chuck D and Blink-182's Travis Barker to perform "Whaddup" off his latest album, Authentic.
The awards show reeled in 28.4 million people this year, the second-most since 1993. Last year's Grammys pulled in an audience of 39.9 million, highlighted by a tribute to Whitney Houston by Jennifer Hudson.
