No one even cares that you can go to jail for possessing a firearm. The politicians sold you on the idea that guns were for your protection from criminals and home defense and you didnt need the same guns they use. The 2nd amendment wasnt meant to protect you from your neighbor, it was meant to protect you from your govt.
